Trying to locate a gym with classes that were scheduled during
the time periods that I had available was becoming a nightmare. On more than
one occasion I literally felt like screaming with frustration.
My son in his innocent wisdom suggested that I take a jog or
speed walk in our neighbourhood. We live in a fairly descent neighbourhood with
enough twists, turns and inclines to give a good sweat. I tried it and got the added bonus of spending
some time with my son as he came along with me. Try it! I promise you it’s the best of many
worlds in that it can be done on your time budget, supports quality family time, contributes to physical and mental wellness and its free too.
